Brilliant progress made with the steelwork at our SSEN Transmission Project in Dundee, using our supply chain partners BSB Structural Ltd.

Sister project at Dalcross Industrial Estate, Inverness also progressing well with the steelwork and cladding packages now completed.

Breaking ground at our Dounreay West Sub Station project as part of the Orkney transmission link which will connect the island to the mainland.

GI are contracted to our long-standing client BAM Nuttall, who are joint principal contractor to SSEN Transmission for the delivery of the overall project.

As Principle Contractor for SSE Renewables we recently completed works on removing a steel arch culvert on the access road to Stronelairg Wind Farm.

The culvert was damaged during a flood event in June 2023, and replaced it with 12 no. box culvert sections with a headwall at either end.

The access road had a live HV and Fibre cable running adjacent to it in the verge. A temporary cable bridge was installed which supported these cables throughout the job. A difficult and technical project was completed on time and within budget.
