CECA Scotland's past chairman's of old and new - all together reminiscing of all the good times and learning of CECA's future plans for 2024. Vice Chair of CECA Scotland, David MacDonald - Also Managing Director for Global Infrastructure.
We held two Site Safety Forum's in December at our Dalcross Project, led by our Health and Safety Manager Alan Niven. These forums provide an opportunity for different sites to come together and engage in open discussions regarding various Health and Safety topics such as Service Strikes, CAT & Genny usage, RAMS, PPE and Vehicle speeds.
We held our annual Christmas Jumper day and raffle, raising over £500 for this years chosen charity Mikey's Line.
CECA Scotland UHI Inverness were actively seeking materials to enhance the CECA Academy student's practical learning experiences. We were able to provide drainage and reinforcement materials, enabling the gap between theory and hands on practical work. Our lorry driver, Angus Stewart also spent time with the students showing them how to offload materials safely and they even managed to get a shot for themselves!
