Global Infrastructure's Specialist Works division brings agile, fast-mobilising delivery to smaller, specialist and time-critical civils, maintenance and infrastructure projects across Scotland.
Operating alongside our larger-scale project delivery teams, Specialist Works gives clients access to the systems, standards and expertise of a major contractor through a more flexible, responsive delivery model – built on decades of experience and long-standing relationships with clients including SSEN, SSE Renewables and Diageo.
What We Deliver
Embracing innovation – and backed by deep technical expertise across civils, maintenance and infrastructure works – our small to medium-scale Specialist Works services include EV charging infrastructure, flood alleviation works, refurbishment works, bridge and access improvements, and hydro and reservoir-related maintenance.
This is supported by a full range of civils and groundworks capability covering drainage, ducting, reinstatement, foundations, concrete bases, access roads, hardstandings and fencing — all delivered safely within live operational environments.

Our recent track record spans structural restoration and refurbishment, reservoir and hydro infrastructure works, and bridge reinforcement and life extension, alongside emerging opportunities in EV charging infrastructure and flood alleviation.
