January News Round-Up

Congratulations to the 9 students who successfully completed a brand new course that was introduced to address the skills storage in the Civil Engineering and Construction Industry.

The pilot NPA in Construction Operations (Civil Engineering Operative) course was run by CECA Scotland through UHI Inverness/

The graduation ceremony took place yesterday at the Balloch Campus of UHI Inverness. The students pictured with David MacDonald, Vice Chairman of CECA Scotland and also Managing Director for Global Infrastructure.

A careers fair was held after the graduation ceremony with a number of local contractors who have pledged to employ these newly qualified students, we are excited to play a part in welcoming young individuals to our industry.

Great progress at our new SSEN Transmission Inverness Warehouse Project at Dalcross, Inverness. 

Construction of the pad foundations completed ahead of schedule in preparation of structural steel erection.

This week our structural steelwork subcontractor BSB Structural Ltd managed to erect the final steel in the Transformer Hall section of the building. 

January has been a real challenge for the team out at our Inverness Warehouse Project for SSEN Transmission, battling all weather conditions.
