Stronelairg Culvert Replacement
As Principal Contractor for SSE Renewables, we recently completed works on removing a steel arch culvert on the access road to Stronelairg Wind Farm.
The culvert was damaged during a flood event in June 2023, and replaced it with 12 no. box culvert sections with a headwall at either end. The access road had a live HV and Fibre cable running adjacent to it in the verge. A temporary cable bridge was installed which supported these cables throughout the job.
